Badgers Circle

‘Badgers Circle’ started out with just a single badger, but as often happens with a new picture, it didn’t ‘feel’ right. There was something missing. In-time, the work expanded into an inter-weaving pair, to form what’s become something of an iconic work for me.

I really enjoyed finding & blending subtle tones for the Badgers. Yet I didn’t stop there… For added interest, I pressed found autumnal leaves into the surrounding background, to lend extra seasonal colour. In conclusion, ‘BADGERS CIRCLE’ is one of those pieces that just keeps on giving up details the more one studies it; little wonder it’s a favourite of mine!
