Sleepy Hollow

Ah, ‘SLEEPY HOLLOW’… It took me ages to get this one right!

First steps came in finding ‘the right leaf’ from the garden. I then used this as a ‘block-printer’ with different paints, before finishing off with separate brush strokes to add little dabs of colour. The quills on my adorable Hedgehog were easy enough, but there were so many to do! I think by the end, I was seeing them in my sleep… One last thing: it’s only recently, I’ve noticed that if you look hard at this little fellow and squint a bit, he looks like a conker!
