‘TREEGAZER’ uses the same scribing technique used in ‘SNOW HARES’ but with a completely different feel.

First to emerge was the tree, with a striking mosaic look to the leaf canopy. I recall being quite taken with this at the time. In turn, this led to a serpent coiling around its trunk. From there, we have a serpent coiling about the trunk. An apple. And an innocent Treegazer, faced with temptation.

Yes, it’s full of allegory, but that wasn’t my intention – it’s just how the pieces and ideas slotted together. You might say ‘divine intervention’, but I prefer to call it a ‘happy accident’!

    All of my OPEN or LIMITED EDITION PRINTS, are printed by my (superb) photographer onto archival paper.
