Emerald (May)

EMERALD (May). A stone offering foresight to its owner, Emerald also signifies rebirth and prosperity through success.

May’s girl wears a padded jacket, with an Emerald-studded collar to match her earrings. In addition, she has a bunch of Hazelnuts & leafs in her red hair, that’s being carefully studied by a Red Squirrel!

Considered as a group, my ‘Little Gems’ presented a wonderful opportunity to delve into the world of portraiture. Revealing and discovering new techniques along the way, has opened-up my world as a painter. Above all and every one of the dozen subjects you see, have benefitted from these revelations. In conclusion, I’m so grateful for having had the chance to complete the project.
