Stencils...

May I introduce you to my Stencils?

I cut every one of the stencils used to create these artworks by hand, out of Mylar sheet – sometimes up to SEVEN different layers! For the base medium, I mostly use plywood (8 or 11mm). The reason? Because the brush used to drive paint through each layer of the stencil, can easily damage canvas. Once finished, the work is sealed with matte varnish, ready for float-mounting.

Each piece is presented Un-Framed. However, at reasonable cost, I draw on the services of an excellent artisanal framer, whom I use often. If you’re thinking of one of these as a gift, please be aware that framing will take from 4 – 6 weeks.

Each artwork is a UNIQUE and ORIGINAL work of stencilled art; I will NEVER make prints of these designs.

I use either archival Fine-Art paper or Hahnemuhle cotton canvas (Rolled & UnStretched). They come in a few sizes:  Mini: An Open Edition, that’s hand-monogrammed on the Matte.  Small: As for Mini.   Standard: Ready-mounted & signed in an edition of #95.   Larger: Un-Mounted & signed. Strictly printed-to-order.  Frames shown for illustrative purposes only.
